If it's a weekday, there's a 5:51 am and a 6:09 train that she should probably aim for. 5 Piedmont Road / Sandy Springs Route 5: NB trip from Lindbergh Center is canceled at 9:55 am Route 5: SB trip from Dunwoody is canceled at 8:50 am Expire at: 10:35 AM 26 Perry Boulevard/North Avenue Route 26: WB trips from Five Points (Alabama St & Broad St) are canceled at 8:20 PM, 10:20 PM and 12:20 AM. Check out the chart below for an in-depth look at each stations parking. We also offer long-term parking at a number of our stations. Free daily parking is available at 23 of our MARTA rail stations. The first train on the weekends is at 6:01 am, and every 20 minute after that - I would imagine that she should probably aim on getting to the station and parking around 6-ish, and catching the 6:21 train - that will put her at Civic Center just before 7, assuming no issues. All MARTA parking decks are open 24 hours a day except the Kensington and Lenox stations - they are open from 5:30 a.m. It's by a quiet neighborhood, and is patrolled regularly by both MARTA and Sandy Springs police. Security is fine - her car should be perfectly safe. any comments/advice would be appreciated. wonders if she will feel safe riding marta (her first time) and standing in a parking lot downtown waiting on her bus at that time of the morning. As for shopping you need to head on to the next stop which is Dunwoody station. Most of the people that get on and off this stop are mainly office workers. Use the Atlantic Station shuttle to connect to the Arts Center MARTA station. Brookhaven, Dunwoody, Kensington, Lenox and Sandy Springs are all 5.00 for long term parking. is security at the parking lot good for that length of time? any idea how much time she should allow for the train ride to the civic center? she is security conscious. FYI- College Park, Doraville, Lindbergh and North Springs stations are all 8.00 long term parking. My daughter 21 yoa age would like to leave her car for 5-6 days at the north springs marta station, ride the train to the civic center station, and catch megabus for a trip to fla.
